Each Superstar can be owned in up to 4 different tiers: 1-4 Star. 1 Star Superstars are the most common and have the weakest potential (although a fully upgraded 1 Star Superstar is a force to be reckoned with, all the way up to 4 Star Superstars which are currently the rarest and after upgrading can reach heights of power greater than any other Superstars. You can't have more than one Superstar of that Star tier (any duplicates will add 'Overdrive' to that Superstar).
You can upgrade your Superstars by using Protein Shakes. This enhances a Superstar's stats. When a Superstar has reached the maximum level for their current rank, they will need to be 'ranked up'. You need to use Training to rank up a Superstar. After a Superstar has been ranked up they will have a new maximum level and can be upgraded with Protein Shakes again. If you use Protein Shakes in this way which match the Superstar's class, they will receive an even higher upgrade!
Boosts can be earned or purchased for Gold. While a Stat Boost is active all qualifying Superstars in your collection will receive a stat buff based on the Boost. Other Boosts will have a general positive effect for example allowing you to gain XP faster to level up. Boosts are only active for a set period before they expire.
If your Superstars take damage during episodes they don't regain HP (Health Points) between matches. So sometimes to go the distance you need to use Health Kits to heal your Superstars. And if a Superstar is defeated in a match Health Kits won't cut it... you'll need a Revive Kit to get them back in the ring.
You gain Special Energy during a match by attacking your opponent. As your Special Energy increases you'll see a bar fill in the lower left of the screen. Your Special Moves consume Special Energy when they're used, so when you have enough Special Energy available you'll see the Special Moves illuminate. That means they're ready to go. Tap the Special Move buttons to activate them but make sure they hit their target otherwise you may be wasting your Special Energy!
You win a match by pinning your opponent. You can initiate a pin through a Special Move when your opponent's HP has been significantly reduced (you'll see a warning when this is possible). You'll have to perform a quick skill test to successfully pin them: tap the pin bar when the marker is in the green zone. If your opponent's HP has been reduced to zero you will automatically successfully pin the opponent and win the match with any Special Move.

Earning "Belts" by winning championship matches add "Title Bonus Rewards" to your usual Match Rewards. The Title bonus Rewards are always Double the XP won in Match rewards. This then applies to all the further matches you play for a specific time period.
Ex - If a story mode gives you 25 XP Match Reward after winning the Season your Belt earns you an extra 50 XP as Title Bonus Reward. Thus you end up earning 75 XP for that season. If you continue playing Story Mode after Title Bonus Reward is activated, you can keep earning double XP rewards for that specific time.
The Title Rewards aren’t applicable across modes. A belt won in PvP mode validates the Title Reward only through the PvP mode. Similarly, a belt won in Story mode validates the Title Reward only through the Story mode.
